Nada Prouty's felony harmed no-one, in-fact this country and all residing in it benefited greatly from her services to her beloved adopted country,America. Many false and unproven charges are accepted in plea bargains to stop the rising cost of expenses, attempt to find closure, put one's life back together, and move on. Deals are struck in plea bargains because someone has to be charged and pay for something to justify investigations, feed the media, cover their hind sides, each case has its own reasons and motivations. However more often then not, they leave a innocent person looking guilty simply because they could not continue on with court battles as in the case of Nada Prouty, case no. 07-20156.

This felony not only was a non prosecutable crime due to the statue of limitation, but again was a non offensive crime to the people. A white collar, red tape crime. A short cut, a loop hole, of which she admitted on the very application she joined the FBI with, and they chose to overlook, hush and ignore it. Nada Prouty being a true patriot in the real sense of the word, a woman of bravery, honor and integrity agreed to wave that statue of limitation in confidence not only in the truth of her innocence, but in the agencies and officials to conduct themselves in a professional, ethical, fair and truthful manner. Had they done so, these posts and comments would not be, and Mrs. Prouty would be free to choose the path of her career serving this country as a American citizen as before.

All that knew, know, and have come to know Mrs. Prouty understand how outrageous and unbelievable these accusation against her are. She has proven for years that her loyalty is unwavering and undeniably to America, the Constitution and the people, especially those who's families where victims of terrorist attacks, like flight 73. She made it her personal mission to give those families justice by fighting terrorism and apprehending the very terrorist's that took the children and members of those victimized families in such a brutal and senseless way. She did not fall short in her commitment to those families, to the U.S.A, to the Govt., to the people, or to the agencies of which she worked for. In fact, many have described her and the success of her services as exceptional and extraordinary. Senior Federal Judge Avern Cohn stated "at no time did you ever compromise or jeopardize the integrity of any work assignment to improper behavior or inappropriate conduct", Former CIA Islamabad Station Chief Bob Grenier said "she was absolutely dogged, she would not give up", he went on to share his and others in the CIA agencies outrage at the media tactics of the Department of Justice and how it was intended to make things appear much worse then what it really was to smear her name ... These are but a few reliable sources speaking in defense and favor of Nada Prouty's character that can be easily referenced. One can find countless if you care to look.

President Obama would be doing this country and his administration a great service that he could count as a success and be truly proud of and for in pardoning Nada Prouty's charges and restoring her citizenship. A misdemeanor charge may be unworthy of the time of a President, but righting the wrongs that have been done to a Patriot that has risked her life for her country is not.
